CENTEREACH, NY — Suffolk police say four people broke the fence at LA Fitness, which is under construction on Middle Country Road in Centereach, and sprayed fire extinguishers inside the property between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. on July 6.

The incident has been classified as criminal trespass, a misdemeanor.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, or by using a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips.
